    In a surprise twist, Honda and Aston Martin F1 have announced that they will become a works-team partnership from the 2026 F1 season onwards! We already know that Red Bull is swapping from Honda to Ford for 2016, but that means Aston Martin will stop purchasing from Mercedes and forge their own path. But why change to Honda? Why is Honda firmly sticking around in Formula 1 after announcing their departure in 2020? And what does this mean for Alonso and his complicated relationship with Honda?
